LEVENT ALTUNTAS

COMPOSER | ORCHESTRATOR | CONDUCTOR

About Levent

Levent Altuntas is a Frankfurt-born, Hamburg-based composer, orchestrator, and conductor specialising in music for film and television. A recipient of the prestigious John Barry Scholarship for Film Music, he earned his Master's in Composition for Screen from the Royal College of Music in London with Distinction.

His screen credits span two narrative features, a feature documentary, and numerous award-winning short films — alongside orchestration work on acclaimed films and series including ITV’s Endeavour and Disney’s The Acolyte. He also writes regularly for the concert hall, and has worked with orchestras across Europe and beyond, among them the Spanish National Radio Symphony Orchestra (RTVE), the London Metropolitan Orchestra, the Budapest Scoring Orchestra, and the Staatskapelle Halle.

A composer equally at home on the concert stage and the silver screen, Levent combines careful craftsmanship with a singular voice — melodically driven, harmonically distinctive, and always in service of the story.
